A graduate of the Ecole des Ponts in Paris and holder of a PhD in CSR, Omar has been working in the certification sector for 18 years. He was Manager and then Managing Director of Bureau Veritas in Morocco before taking over the Certification and Business Development Division for Africa. He is Founding Chairman of the Moroccan Certifiers Association, Chairman of the Quality and Management Association, First Vice-Chairman of the CSR Observatory in Morocco, Past Chairman of the Business Support Commission of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vice-Chairman of the CFCIM Start-ups Cluster. He is also an active member of the Moroccan employers’ association and the African Quality and Business Intelligence networks.
