1. What is your professional background ?
I have been working on the Information Security and Privacy field for more than 7 years while performing a diversity of activities. From participating in certification audits, creation of exams, development of examination and learning online platforms, implementation missions and trainer, while working across Europe, Latin America, North America and Africa.
2. Why did you chose this job?
It is a field that I have been very familiar with since I was a kid, given that my father has always worked in it, which made me grow an interest on the subject. On the other hand, while studying physics I came upon Quantum Information, which I found fascinating and thought to myself that in a not so far future we will need to think and develop a Quantum Information Management System as well as to audit them. So what better way to start than knowing the ins and out on how to perform an ISMS audit and perform them.
3. What do you think is a good auditor ?
In my opinion, in order to be a good auditor you need to, of course, master the subject of the audit; but also, and maybe equally important, is how you need to interact with the auditee. It is essential to show integrity, be able to communicate the ideas and perform the good questions and know how to work as a team.
4. What is the added value of your experience within the Certi-Trust team?
I feel that through my experience and my character I have acquired a good resolutive attitude. Being able to identify key points that need to be addressed and finding the most efficient way to do so.
5. What are the challenges of your job on a daily basis?
As an auditor we may face some challenges, whether related to the preparation of the audit, getting to know several business sectors which all have their unique differences even in the field of information security which must be taken into consideration while performing the audit. Another challenge that an auditor has to tackle on each audit is the one related to “fairness”, we need to ensure that our findings will be fair for each auditee.
6. What if you had to convince someone to join Certi-Trust’s team in one sentence ?
If you want to experience what is like to work with people from all around the world in the field of Certification come join us.
